You can specify many standard colors within HTML code by simply using the color's name. The chart lists these named colors alphabetically by name and gives their corresponding hexadecimal and RGB codes. (NOTE: The colors in this chart are not necessarily Web-safe colors, in fact most are not. If you want to use only Web-safe colors on your Web pages, you should use the Color Picker tool instead of this chart. Also, there are a few older browsers that will not support the named color feature and require use of the hexadecimal code rather than the name of the color.)
